The Fitness App That Works With Everything You Already Have

All devices. All workouts. All your friends. Motion works with any tracker, counts every movement, and lets everyone play together regardless of their tech.

Stop Letting Tech Divide Your Fitness Squad

The Universal Compatibility Problem

Your situation: Apple Watch Series 9, Strava premium, and a Peloton addiction. Your mom: Fitbit from 2019 and mall walking. Your friend: Samsung Galaxy Watch and YouTube yoga. Your partner: No tracker, just the gym's ancient treadmill.

Try to find ONE app where you can all compete together. We'll wait...

Why Fitness Apps Are So Exclusive

Device Lock-in: "Sorry, Apple Watch only!" or "Requires Fitbit device!"

Workout Snobbery: Apps that only count "real" workouts while ignoring your 10,000 steps chasing toddlers.

Platform Wars: iPhone users can't play with Android friends. 2025 and we're still doing this?

The One-Goal Trap: Hit the gym 3x this week! But what if you hiked Saturday, swam Sunday, and walked 15,000 steps Monday? Sorry, doesn't count toward your gym goal. Fail.

What If Everything Just... Counted?

What if there was one simple fitness score that included EVERYTHING you did? What if that score worked regardless of your device? What if you could finally include everyone in your fitness journey?

Motion: One Goal, Infinite Ways to Achieve It

The Magic of One Simple Number

Motion converts ALL your activity into a single, simple score. We call it your Activity Score, and it's genius in its simplicity:

Ran 5K? That's points. Walked the dog? Points. Yoga session? Points. Cleaned the house vigorously? Believe it or not, points. Chased kids around the park? So. many. points.

The Activity Exchange System

Here's where it gets brilliant. Your weekly goal might be 1,000 activity points. How you get there is entirely up to you:

Monday: Planned gym session. Kids got sick. Stayed home. Tuesday: Ran errands all day. Logged 18,000 steps. That's 300 points! Wednesday: Quick yoga session. 100 points. Thursday: Playground with kids + evening walk. 250 points! Friday: Finally made it to gym. 200 points. Weekend: Hiking adventure. 250 points.

Total: 1,100 points. Goal crushed! πŸŽ‰

No guilt about missing the gym. No rigid "3x per week" rules. Just movement that fits YOUR life.

Device Democracy: Everyone's Invited

iOS & Android: Both platforms, all versions, everyone plays together.

Every Major Smartwatch:

  • Apple Watch (all models)
  • Fitbit (every device they make)
  • Garmin (from basic to Fenix)
  • Samsung Galaxy Watch
  • Wear OS devices
  • Amazfit
  • Polar
  • Suunto
  • Withings
  • ...and dozens more

No Watch? No Problem:

  • Phone step tracking (iOS & Android built-in)
  • Connect any fitness app (Strava, Nike Run Club, MyFitnessPal, etc.)
  • Simple tracker built-in to Motion!
  • Even basic pedometers work!

How It Actually Works

  1. Connect what you have: Link your devices/apps to Motion (takes 30 seconds)
  2. Everything syncs automatically: Steps, workouts, active minutes - all counted
  3. Get your unified score: See all activity as one simple number
  4. Compete fairly: Your score vs their score, using effort-based goals
  5. Play together: Finally include everyone in weekly battles regardless of their tech

Frequently asked questions

If you have anything else you want to ask, reach out to us.

    • Which fitness trackers work with Motion?

Pretty much all of them! Apple Watch, all Fitbit devices, Garmin watches, Samsung Galaxy Watch, Wear OS devices, Polar, Suunto, Withings, Amazfit, COROS, and more. If it syncs with Apple Health or Google Fit, it works with Motion. Check our full compatibility list in the app.

    • Can I use Motion without a fitness tracker?

Absolutely! Your phone tracks steps automatically (both iOS and Android). You can also connect other fitness apps you already use, or manually log workouts. A tracker is nice but definitely not required.

    • How do different activities convert to the same score?

Motion uses a smart algorithm that considers intensity, duration, and effort, as well as key biological markers, and your personal fitness level. A 30-minute run might equal 10,000 steps or a 45-minute yoga session. The exact conversion depends on your personal baseline, ensuring fair competition for everyone.

    • Can Apple Watch users compete with Fitbit users?

Yes! This is Motion's superpower. Everyone's data gets normalized into the same scoring system, so device doesn't matter. Your mom's Fitbit can absolutely beat your Apple Watch in weekly battles.

    • What if I use multiple devices?

No problem! Connect them all. Motion intelligently merges your data to avoid double-counting. Wear your Garmin for runs and Apple Watch for daily use? We'll figure it out.

    • Do all types of workouts really count the same?

They count proportionally based on effort and energy expenditure. An hour of intense cycling scores higher than an hour of gentle walking, but both contribute to your goal. The beauty is YOU choose how to hit your target.
